Violinist Amaryn Olmeda was awarded 2021 the first prize and the audience choice award at the 24th Annual Sphinx Competition. She has been a featured soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Richmond Symphony, San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, Stockton Symphony, Classical Tahoe Orchestra, Auburn Symphony, Music in the Mountains Orchestra, Merced Symphony, Solano Symphony, and the Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier and Academic Orchestras.
